CAN I REMOVE SERVICES FROM MY BOOKING?

Once you have confirmed your quote, signed a service agreement and placed a deposit, services cannot be altered.

If you have family members or additional guests who may require services, it is best to leave them out of the initial agreement until confirmed. If there is a change of mind for the services; unfortunately, they cannot be removed on the day.

CAN I ADD SERVICES TO MY BOOKING?

If you have family members or guests requiring services after the initial agreement, this is acceptable if the additional services work with the preparation schedule of the day. The extra services will be added to the invoice once confirmed.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN THE SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR THE BOOKING?

Yes. Signing the contract shows that you understand what is required of Diana (Artist/Service Provider) to you in the process of the wedding journey and what is required of the you (The Bride).

The contract confirms that you understand the:

1. Booking process

2. The service rates

3. The travel rates

4. The bridal consultation rates

5. The non-refundale deposit & invoice balance payments process

6. Booking Cancellations

7. Natural disasters and medical policies

8. Marketing

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

The total cost of the booking is paid over 2 payments.

1. The non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding day.

2. The balance is due 7 days before the wedding day.

All payments are to be made via a bank transfer online or online using your credit card.

NOTE: The Preview Day is not included in the wedding date booking. It is an additional cost to be paid on the trial date.

DO YOU OFFER TOUCH UP OR CHANGE OF HAIRSTYLE SERVICE FOR THE RECEPTION?

Yes! This is a question that is asked during the initial enquiry if the bridal would like this service. It is an additional charge for the hairstylist to stay in the wedding destination location and to complete a touch up of the hairstyle or to restyle the hair into a second look.

The service rate for this option starts from $200 and varies on price depending on duration in the area location as it may include overnight accommodation. A quote will be provided for the additional service.

WHERE DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

My services are mobile across Oregon and I am available for destination weddings around the world.

The majority of my bookings are based on the southern Oregon coast/Brookings-Harbor area

however I will gladly travel to you.

WHY IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE?

The mobile service allows the bridal party to feel relaxed and calm, knowing that it’s professionally tailored to the bridal party's desires and in the comfort of your location of choice.

The travel fee is applied for the time it takes to travel to and from the destination location by car and fuel expenses.

Hotel parking is chargeable to the bridal party room on the day.

An additional charge of accommodation may be applied for destination weddings that require an early start time.

For destination weddings over 3 hours of travel time or interstate and international weddings accommodation, airfares, car hire, and meal allowances may be applied to the quotation.

IS A BRIDAL HAIR TRIAL REQUIRED?

Hair trials are not compulsory but highly recommended to collaborate with your hairstylist in designing your dream wedding hair. The professional experience provides the hairstylist with a hands-on evaluation of your hairs texture, length and condition in preparation for your desired style. This in-person style meeting helps the bride for;

1. Color placement required for the hairstyle

2. Hairstyle shape (e.g. face-framing layers).

3. Hair extension purchases or hire for volume, length and support.

4. Veil placement.

5. Accessory placement.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRANGE A BRIDAL HAIR TRIAL?

Bridal consultations are recommended at least 3-6 months or a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the wedding. This ensures preparation requirements are arranged; like hair coloring, hair extensions and hair accessories for your desired hairstyle.

WHERE DOES THE PREVIEW DAY PLACE?

I conduct the Preview Day (aka hair trial) at Salon Dolce, which is located at 509 Chetco Avenue in Brookings, Oregon.

CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE HAIRSTYLE TRIAL?

The bridal hair trial has an allocated time period of 1 hours. This timeframe is based on the consultation and the hairstyle preparation and finishing to complete the look.

If you are unsure of which option you would prefer from an upstyle and a down hairstyle you can email a request to trial both options.

Once I have seen your reference images I can advise if its achievable within the 1 hour booking or if more time needs to be allocated due to different preparation techniques.

If more time is required additional charges will be applied.

CAN MY MOM OR BRIDESMAIDS HAVE A HAIR TRIAL TOO?

Usually it is only the bride who has a wedding hair trial to design her overall style for the big day.

I understand that the bridal party may like to trial a particular look, or the mother of the bride would like to design a style for her daughters special day for herself and is concerned about doing something different.

When arranging the trial date please confirm that you would like to request an additional service at the time of booking to ensure time is available to add them. I strongly recommend to take the last booking of the day if you wish to add on an additional person to the trial.

ADDITIONAL PERSON HAIR TRIAL = $100 per person

CAN I ARRANGE A TRIAL BEFORE MAKING A DEPOSIT BOOKING?

Preview Day appointments are only for brides who have secured their wedding date by paying a deposit and signing a contract.

I understand that some brides wish to have a trial before securing a date with a hairstylist. I cannot reserve the wedding date until a deposit and contract have been arranged. Without this step, it can result in your wedding date being booked by another bride before your trial date, it is extremely risky so I no longer take bookings this way to avoid disappointment.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO FOR THE PREVIEW DAY?

1. Once I have confirmed with you your Preview Day appointment, a confirmation email will be sent with the details.

2. An email will be issued with a link to complete a form with your hairstyle vision (images of your hair, your hair inspiration, hair accessories and your dream dress). I will advise if haircutting or hair extensions are required achieve the desired hairstyle. It also helps on the day as all the information is together ready to discuss.

3. Purchase hair extensions, hair accessories and get face framing pieces (if required) before the hair trial.

4. If you have a white top in the shape of your dress from the neckline, wear it to give an overall feel of where the hair will sit.

5. An email will be sent the day before the trial to confirm with details on when to wash your hair.

WHAT HAIR EXTENSIONS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

For clip-in hair extensions to be used on the wedding day, I recommend Babe, Halo Couture, and Hidden Crown. You can purchase these in sets online for a reasonable price.

You can select the amount of hair that would work best with your hair type of fine medium and thick, but generally opting for around 220g is best for thickness. If there is too much for your hair you can always leave some wefts out when styling.

If the hair is too long or slightly off in color, you can ask your hairstylist to cut it to shape and match your color tone.

HOW LONG DOES EACH SERVICE REQUIRE ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I allow 2 hours for the Bride, 1 hour per wedding party member on the wedding day. For hairstyles that require additional preparation (e.g very curly hair) or hair extensions added to a hairstyle, an additional 15 - 30 minutes will be applied for the person.

WHAT TIME DO YOU USUALLY FINISH THE SERVICES ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I advise that it is best to finish the services 1.5 hours before the ceremony time. This allows time for final touch ups, time for the bridal party to get dressed without feeling rushed, time for pre-ceremony photos with the photographer and time allocated to leave for the ceremony if at another location.

HOW SHOULD MY BRIDAL PARTY PREPARE OUR HAIR FOR THE WEDDING DAY?

1. Highly recommended for all services for hair to be washed (x 2 shampoo’s + conditioner on ends) the night before the wedding.

2. If anyone’s hair gets oily during their sleep overnight, they can wash their hair on the morning. They will be required to dry off their hair before being in the chair for styling.

3. For mothers of the bride/groom that hair short hair that require a blow-dry they can wash their hair the morning of the wedding.

4. For any person that has super curly hair that is after a smoother finish on the day, I recommend getting a blow-dry the day before that stretches the hair out. This creates more memory hold for the hairstyle to last on the day, especially if its humid weather.

5. If hair extensions are to be added on the day, please ensure these are shampooed, conditioned, dried – not wet and brushed thoroughly ready for the service.

6. It is best to wear either a robe/gown or button up top for the services to allow easy change into attire for the event without disturbing the hair and makeup

WILL YOU APPLY MY VEIL TO THE HAIRSTYLE ON THE DAY?

Yes, I will stay until after you are dressed in apply final touch ups to your bridal hairstyle and then apply your veil to the desired placement.

For added security to comb veils I will add 2 bobby pins either side for support, mainly for strong winds or guests stepping on them.

I will demonstrate to the bridal party how to remove for the reception without distrubing the hair.
